The City of Niagara Fall is actively involved in efforts to establish an inter-municipal transit service between communities in the Regional Municipality of Niagara.
Rail service is provided by Via Rail and GO Transit’s seasonal tourism train service operates between Niagara Falls and Toronto’s Union Station. Several licensed taxi companies also serve residents and visitors to Niagara Falls.
Exciting new transportation developments are also on the horizon as the much-anticipated Niagara Falls People Mover System nears the launch of its rubber-tire public transportation service which will link major tourism districts throughout the municipality.
