Mayor's Executive Summary
As the Chief Brand Manager (CBM) for the City of Niagara Falls, Mayor Jim Diodati is involved in aspects of the City’s continuous improvement. Niagara Falls is not only a world-class travel destination, but a globally recognized icon. As the CBM, Jim has had the opportunity to travel abroad and within Canada to meet the movers and shakers who will assist us with the advancement of Niagara Falls. Jim works together with City Council and closely with Senior City Staff to ensure the City keeps on its course.
As a lifelong entrepreneur, Jim understands what it takes to make a business successful. Jim’s approach to running the City is much like a CEO’s approach to running an effective business. Jim believes in catching people doing something right, praising their actions and encouraging them to keep up the good work! He believes that the best is yet to come for the City of Niagara Falls and that the work being done today will bring many favourable returns!
Jim’s eternal optimism helps keep him focused on our target goals and avoid being distracted by negativity. He never gives up and inspires other to hold on to their dreams! Jim makes it a priority to find a work-life balance so he can do his best for the residents of Niagara Falls and also enjoy life’s special moments with his wife, Yvonne, and their three kids. Jim is in it to win it and he is taking us along for the ride!
