The City has initiated a secondary plan for the area south of McLeod Road, west of Montrose Road, as shown on the map. These lands, the Garner South Secondary Plan Area, are to be a focus of new development over the next 10 to 15 years. The secondary plan is to provide for a set of Official Plan policies that will guide the development of these lands.
Public Meeting - October 24, 2011
In advance of the statutory public meeting to be held on October 24, 2011 a revised secondary plan has been prepared for public review and comment. The revised plan reflects the comments received since the Open House in November, 2010.

Since the Open House of November 2010, staff has been revising the Secondary Plan to address comments that were received at the Open House and afterwards.
November 17, 2010 - Open House
In advance of the November 17th Open House, the proposed secondary plan was prepared for public review and comment. The proposed plan has been revised from the draft document based on comments received from the March Open House as well as agency circulation.
